Upside-down fork

BMW HP2 Megamoto Chassis

The upside-down fork used in the HP2 Megamoto is precisely designed for active use. Both compression and rebound stage are adjustable, enabling perfect adaptation to the prevailing conditions.

Rear wheel suspension
The combination of the forged single-sided swing arm - modified for the intended purpose of the HP2 Megamoto - the Paralever principle and the high-quality Öhlins single suspension strut is simply perfect. The very finest response, maximum stability and of course adjustable in compression and rebound stage. Spring preload is also adjustable to continuously variable levels.

Tubular space frame
The light tubular space frame is based on the BMW 900 RR, which proved its effectiveness in rally racing with numerous victories. The design combines a high degree of rigidity with an extremely compact construction, thus preparing the HP2 Megamoto excellently for challenges sought by the most ambitious riders.

Conclusion: a chassis which sets new standards on asphalt.
Optimum directional stability due to the long wheelbase and extended Paralever swing arm, low centre of gravity and an amazing dry weight for a 2-cylinder of just 178 kg due to various lightweight construction measures: in the HP2, everything is geared towards impressive performance.
